This season has been extraordinarily generous, and we want to ensure that not a single leaf, root, or stem goes to waste. Instead, we’re sharing our bounty with you—our community.
A Harvest of Abundance
Our plot at The Farm at Awbury has flourished this season, producing an incredible variety of medicinal herbs. From grounding roots to aromatic leaves, we’ve cultivated plants that support wellness, healing, and vitality. Rather than letting this abundance go unused, we’re opening our fields to you so you can harvest fresh, organically grown medicinal herbs to take home and use for teas, remedies, and wellness practices.
Pick Your Own Medicinal Herbs
Come with your shears and your family to harvest directly from our fields. This hands-on experience connects you to the plants, the earth, and the growing cycle. Whether you’re an experienced herbalist or simply curious about medicinal plants, this is an opportunity to gather fresh herbs at your own pace.

Our harvest includes a diverse array of healing plants, including:
Motherwort, Peppermint, Mugwort, Horse Nettle, Comfrey, Hyssop, Catnip, Dandelion, Golden Rod, Lemon Balm, Spearmint, Yarrow, Marshmallow, Evening Primrose, Echinacea, and more!
Each herb offers unique benefits—from calming and grounding to immune support and digestive wellness. Our team will be on hand to share information about each plant and its traditional uses.
Pay-What-You-Can Model
We believe that access to medicinal herbs should not be limited by financial constraints. That’s why we’re offering all herbs on a pay-what-you-can basis. Whether you can contribute $5, $20, or more, your contribution supports the continuation of this community-centered farming project. No one will be turned away.
Family-Friendly Activities
This is more than just an herb-picking event—it’s a celebration of community and connection. Bring your whole family to enjoy hay rides, connect with neighbors, and experience the joy of harvest season together. There’s something for everyone, from young children to elders.
