Ujima Life Services invites you to Plant Your Intention for the New Year, a transformative workshop designed to help you begin 2026 with clarity, purpose, and community support. Rooted in the principles of Ujima—collective work and responsibility—this gathering honors the African-centered value of healing and growing together.
The Power of Intention
As we transition into a new year, it’s essential to pause and reflect on what we truly want to cultivate in our lives. Rather than rushing into resolutions that fade by February, this workshop creates space for intentional, mindful planning grounded in cultural wisdom and wellness practices. We believe that when we set intentions collectively, we strengthen not only our individual paths but also our community bonds.
What You’ll Experience
This intimate gathering includes three core components designed to ground you in intention-setting:
Grounding Herbal Meditation: Begin with a guided meditation using grounding herbs to calm your nervous system and center your mind. This practice will help you access clarity and inner wisdom as you prepare to set your intentions for the year ahead.
Create Your Intention Planter: As a tangible reminder of your commitment, you’ll create a beautiful intention planter to take home. This serves as a daily visual anchor for your goals and aspirations, literally planting your intentions as seeds for growth.
Cultural and Wellness Reflections: Engage in guided reflections that honor cultural wisdom while exploring personal wellness goals. These conversations will help you align your intentions with your values, your community, and your vision for the year.
