Hekima Women’s Circle (55+)

Hekima is the Swahili word for wisdom.
Join us for an evening of reflection, conversation, and connection as we introduce Hekima Women’s Circle—a community created for Black women seeking meaningful dialogue, personal growth, and collective wellness.
Life often asks us to care for everyone else before ourselves. Hekima offers a space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the wisdom that already lives within us and among us. Through guided discussion, reflective activities, and authentic conversation, participants will explore topics related to wellness, purpose, relationships, aging, self-care, and navigating life’s transitions.
This introductory gathering is an opportunity to:
- Learn about the vision and purpose of Hekima
- Meet other women in the community
- Participate in thoughtful discussion and reflection
- Explore how collective wisdom can support personal growth
- Help shape future circle topics and gatherings
No special preparation is required. Come as you are and join us in creating a supportive community rooted in wisdom, healing, and connection.
Who is this for?
Black women who are seeking community, reflection, encouragement, and opportunities for personal growth.
Please Note: Hekima Women’s Circle is a wellness and community-building program and is not group therapy or a substitute for mental health treatment.
We look forward to welcoming you into the circle.
